Principal Engineer Functional Verification & Methodology (f/m/div)*

Functional verification is your home turf. There you settled and now you are eager to continuously work at the edge of development?
In your new role you will:
  • Definition and implementation of verification concepts for complex SoCs using state-of-the-art methodologies such metric-driven, formal, power-aware as well as HW/SW co-verification
  • Architecting state-of-the-art testbenches for IPs, sub-systems and SoCs
  • Coordination of the overall verification strategy in projects and communities
  • Definition and steering of verification management activities such as verification planning, verification tracking and reporting
  • Conducting the clarification of verification requirements in cross-functional collaborations with design, software and physical implementation teams across multiple sites
  • Proactively driving the improvement of existing verification methodologies and flows
  • Ensuring a work process compliant and high quality verification signoff
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers as well as driving academic and research activities

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of experience within the semiconductor industry, including roles of technical leadership
  • Experience with a large variety of chip and testbench architectures
  • Strong know-how of state-of-the-art methodologies like metric-driven, formal, power-aware, HW/SW co-verification and mixed-signal verification concepts
  • Functional safety and security know-how is a plus
  • Highly skilled in SystemVerilog, VHDL, Verilog, UVM and scripting languages
  • High level of expertise in using leading-edge simulators, linters, testbench qualification tools as well as data management systems
