## Job requirements - Degree in Engineering (e.g., Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Engineering) or comparable technical qualification - Extended experience in project management of industrial plant, piping, or hook-up projects (€1–10M), including management of parallel projects - Strong knowledge of industrial media supply systems (gas, chemicals, ultrapure media, etc.) and piping systems, including technical understanding of interfaces and plant integration - Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings, piping layouts, and engineering documentation - Strong expertise in budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and resource planning - Experience in risk, contract, and claim management - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including leading project teams - Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style - Initial experience in the water treatment industry - Proficient in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) - Fluent in German (required) and English (beneficial) - Willingness to travel within Germany & EMEA, depending on project requirements - Valid Class B driver’s license ## Job responsibilities Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management - Manage all project stakeholders and interfaces across clients, engineering, procurement, installation teams, and subcontractors - Act as the main point of contact for clients and ensure clear, transparent communication throughout all project phases - Coordinate interfaces in industrial hook-up environments (media supply, piping systems, equipment integration) Project Cost Control & Contract Management - Own and drive project financial performance, ensuring achievement of gross margin and budget targets - Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, costs, and forecasts - Identify risks and opportunities and actively manage contract variations, claims, and change orders Project & Resource Planning - Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across multiple parallel workstreams - Ensure on-time delivery through proactive monitoring and coordination of all involved parties Technical Project Management - Coordinate engineering activities related to piping systems, media connections, and plant integration - Clarify technical interfaces for pipelines, utility systems, and equipment hook-ups - Participate in technical meetings and ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements Quality, Safety & Site Execution - Oversee site activities including installation, hook-up, and construction work on industrial facilities - Ensure strict HSE compliance and conduct safety and quality inspections on-site - Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to project standards - Support commissioning activities and ensure successful system integration and handover to the client Project Monitoring & Reporting - Track project progress, KPIs, milestones, and performance indicators - Prepare and maintain project plans, progress reports, and technical documentation - Provide structured reporting to internal and external stakeholders and drive continuous improvement ## Job benefits - Your well-being matters – benefit from a flexible health budget you can use for preventive medical check-ups, glasses, professional dental cleanings, and more. - Your future is important to us – we support your long-term financial security with a company pension scheme (betriebliche Altersvorsorge) and up to 20% employer contribution. - Your everyday life should be easier – enjoy access to a Corporate Benefits program with exclusive discounts and special offers across a wide range of shops, brands, and products. - Stay mobile and sustainable – with our company bike leasing program, you can easily lease your dream bike while promoting your health and protecting the environment. - Your health is important to us – that’s why we continue to support you financially beyond the statutory 6 weeks in case of illness.
