Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

## What You'll Do In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise. ### Responsibilities - Development of leading-edge technology to advance KLA’s metrology systems with a focus on light sources - Drive system characterization and error budget creation/analysis - Derive clear actions to improve module and system performance - Hands-on laboratory work to build, run and iterate complex optical setups - Support in‐house production and system integration; support customers and suppliers with technical feedback - Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams (optics, mechanics, electronics) in an international environmen ### Minimum Qualifications ### Qualifications - Master’s degree (or PhD) in Physics / Optical Engineering or a comparable technical field recommended - 3+ year’s of relevant experience in system development and experimental engineering - Background in plasma or laser physics is highly beneficial - Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB / Python) - Strong analytical and problem‐solving mindset; ability to turn complex data into decisions - Sense of urgency – strong desire for short time to result - Confident communication skills in English; comfortable working across cultures and disciplines - Occasional domestic and international travel, including to the United States, may be required as part of this role (approx. 10–15%) - EU work permit required
