Events are a key driver of footfall and brand engagement, giving visitors continuous reasons to return. Within the Marketing & Communications team, the Account Manager – GRIDX Events leads the communication strategy for all events, ensuring each activation becomes a high-impact moment before, during and after it happens.

Event production and logistics are managed by the Events team; your role is to make every event visible, desirable and unmissable.

ROLE PURPOSE

You are responsible for transforming GRIDX events into powerful communication moments.

From planning to execution, you design and deliver campaigns that generate anticipation, maximise attendance, and extend engagement beyond the event itself through content, media and influencer activation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Events Communications Planning

  • Own the events communications calendar, building campaign timelines 6–8 weeks ahead.
  • Define audience targeting, messaging, channel mix and KPIs for each event.
  • Align event communications with GRIDX’s broader content and brand calendar.
  • Manage event communication budgets across paid, content and press/influencer activities.

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Deliver end-to-end multi-channel campaigns for all major events.
  • Write all campaign copy: social media, emails, web pages, press releases, on-site content.
  • Brief internal teams to produce on-brand creative assets.
  • Build pre-event buzz through teasers, countdowns and paid campaigns.
  • Capture and amplify live event content (photo, video, social).
  • Produce post-event recaps and performance-driven content.

Media & Influencer Relations

  • Develop relationships with local and regional media.
  • Write and distribute press releases and manage media invitations.
  • Coordinate press attendance and ensure quality coverage.
  • Manage influencer collaborations aligned with event audiences.
  • Build and maintain a reliable network of creators and media contacts.

Content & Editorial

  • Produce and commission event-related content across all channels.
  • Develop GRIDX’s storytelling approach for events beyond simple promotion.
  • Integrate events content into the wider editorial strategy.

Performance & Reporting

  • Deliver post-event reports covering reach, engagement, press coverage and ROI.
  • Analyse campaign performance and optimise future activations.
  • Build best practices for event communications over time.

Internal Coordination

  • Act as the main link between Marketing & Communications and Events teams.
  • Collaborate with CRM, Content and Tenant teams for integrated activations.
  • Contribute insights to improve future event strategies.

YOUR PROFILE

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years in marketing, PR or communications, ideally in events, culture, hospitality or entertainment.
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and media/influencer relations.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong storyteller with excellent writing skills (English & French).
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple fast-moving campaigns.
  • Creative and audience-driven, with a strong understanding of lifestyle audiences (16–30).
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, event-driven environment.
  • Familiar with Meta Business Suite, Canva, CMS and email tools.

Languages

  • Fluent English and French (written and spoken).
  • German is an asset.
