Application Specialist / Application Support Specialist – Software Configuration (m/f/d)
At DEVCON, you’ll work at the intersection of customers, products, and development. You’ll configure workflows, forms, portals, and templates, and develop tailored solutions for our established client base.
Remote Work:
During the probationary period, you’ll work at our office in Brühl. After the probationary period, you’ll also have the option to work from home.
Your Responsibilities
- You’ll analyze business requirements and implement them within our application.
- You will configure workflows, parameters, filters, table views, and other system settings.
- You will create and maintain mail merge, document, and email templates.
- You will configure our portals and form solutions and customize forms and user interfaces to specific use cases and customer requirements.
- You will coordinate solutions directly with customers.
- You’ll assist with training sessions and further develop documentation and online help.
What You Should Bring to the Table
- Vocational training, a college degree, or a comparable practical career in the IT or application field.
- Experience with configurable software solutions, such as CRM, ERP, workflow, or low-code systems.
- A quick grasp of technical and business processes.
- A structured, independent, and pragmatic approach to work.
- Fluency in German and a passion for direct, professional communication with customers.
Prerequisites
Prior technical knowledge is not required. However, depending on your experience and interests, you can expand your responsibilities to include SQL as well as minor customizations using JavaScript and CSS. We also take additional technical expertise and responsibility into account when determining compensation—up to 60,000 euros gross annual salary is possible.
What We Offer
- A permanent, full-time position at an established, financially stable software company.
- 30 days of vacation plus additional days off on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
- Flexible working hours, flex time, and a work-time account; ongoing overtime is not part of our work model.
- Fixed gross annual salary: 45,000–55,000 euros; up to 60,000 euros for candidates with particularly deep technical expertise and corresponding levels of responsibility; plus a profit-sharing bonus starting in the second year of employment.
