The Opportunity

CACI is looking for a seasoned software development professional to support FOIA case management and other information access solutions who ideally has experience supporting systems in the Operation and Maintenance phase of the system lifecycle to work with a seasoned team of technical professionals providing full life-cycle support for multiple systems deployed in a U.S. Government environment to provide public access to information. They provide software enhancements and fixes that support users performing vital information access services to the American public.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting issues impacting system operation and performance
• Developing software modules to meet customer’s business requirements for new features, enhancement of existing capabilities, and correction of defects identified in the system
• Participating in project planning, system design, and implementation activities for new system capabilities and enhancement of existing functionality
• Supporting the deployment and testing of software and responding to testing feedback
• Making recommendations and advising on system improvements, automation, and risk management
• Interfacing with other members of the team to ensure they have a clear understanding of system issues and requirements
• Supporting the development of system and user documentation to promote adoption and use of the system

Required Qualifications

• Experience performing application development in a .NET framework for applications with Oracle backends
• Experience working with representative users to elicit and refine requirements for system enhancements and other system modifications to improve system functionality and fit-for-purpose
• Demonstrated ability to access and query Oracle database data and objects using SQL and Plus and SQL Developer, and to perform application patching, troubleshooting, and performance analysis
• Demonstrated possession of verbal and written communication skills to work independently and effectively with the users, stakeholders, and other team members
• Reside within a commutable distance to the customer site near College Park, MD. Six years of IT experience, plus a bachelor’s degree or an additional six years of experience
• Possess Top Secret clearance and possess or be able to obtain DOE 'Q' access

Desired Qualifications

• Experience managing virtual instances and system updates in an AWS environment using remote desktop

Pay Range

The proposed salary range for this position is: $114,600-$252,100
