Overview

The Global Market Access team provides commercialization strategy and reimbursement services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostics companies.

We work across pre-commercialization marketing strategies, launch pricing, and access strategies in major and emerging global markets.

Responsibilities

  • Track record of success developing, leading, and delivering global pricing and access/reimbursement projects (EU, APAC, LATAM) with expertise on HTA frameworks, pricing & reimbursement archetypes, and national/regional mechanisms.
  • Support development and review of project deliverables to ensure proper framing of strategic issues and that materials meet or exceed client standards.
  • Facilitate client presentations and manage ongoing relationships.
  • Actively support business development and project sales cycle.
  • Manage and develop staff, including performance management.
  • Create corporate- and product-level commercialization strategies for technologies in early stages of product development.
  • Lead qualitative/quantitative research with payers and HCPs, support materials, and facilitate discussions.
  • Develop payer strategy including value proposition, global payer archetypes, and evidence generation expectations.
  • Conduct pricing studies for new products, determine pricing & reimbursement potential, list-to-net pricing dynamics, contracting considerations.
  • Perform market landscape assessments of clients' technologies and competitors, evaluating clinical literature, health economics, payer policies, and pricing dynamics.
  • Travel is project dependent but averages 20%.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related field.
  • 6+ years of prior work experience in the healthcare industry; experience in market access, reimbursement, pricing, and/or health economics required, with transferable management consulting experience.
  • 2-3+ years of experience managing activities of a project team including workplan, staffing, deadlines, scope and budget.
  • Demonstrated success supervising, coaching, and mentoring junior staff and guiding their career development.
  • Willing and able to travel to client sites across the US up to 20% of the time.
