Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Consultant Engagement

Pro Audio Germany -


  • Develop and strengthen relationships with consultants, technical planners, system integrators, and key decision-makers in the PRO A/V industry
  • Identify, drive, and support project opportunities by positioning Yamaha Professional Audio solutions throughout planning, specification, tender, and implementation phases
  • Take full responsibility for developing, implementing, and driving initiatives to achieve Yamaha's strategic goals in this area, as well as for forecasting governance
  • Provide technical and conceptual consulting during system design and oversee the successful execution of turnkey projects
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Application Engineering, distributors, and partners to ensure project success and effective stakeholder communication
  • Drive strategic initiatives to strengthen Yamaha's consultant network, improve CRM processes, and optimize cross-functional collaboration
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities to support strategic decision-making and forecasting

  • Degree in Audio Engineering, Media Technology, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
  • Relevant experience in business development, project sales, technical planning, or consulting within the professional audio or A/V industry
  • Strong understanding of consultant- and project-driven business, with an established network in the German market
  • Solid technical knowledge of professional audio systems, networking technologies, and installation concepts
  • Good communication and presentation skills, and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
  • Economic, structured, and proactive working style with a high degree of independence
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Germany and Europe
  • Driver's license
