Electrical Commissioning Manager – Data Centre | Frankfurt, Germany - Freelance

We are supporting a leading contractor on a hyperscale data centre project in Frankfurt and are looking for an experienced Freelance Electrical Commissioning Manager to join the team.

This is a key role within a mission-critical environment, responsible for overseeing the commissioning of complex electrical systems from pre-commissioning through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical commissioning activities across the project lifecycle
• Manage commissioning of HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, and associated infrastructure
• Coordinate with client, EPC contractors, and specialist vendors
• Review and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations
• Oversee testing, inspection, and sign-off of all electrical systems
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during commissioning phases
• Drive a strong HSE and quality culture on site
