Director Finance & Administration (m/w/d)

In this position, you will report directly to the General Manager of the local German entity.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end leadership and accountability for Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Tax, and Administrative functions, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy
  • Management, development, and scaling of a team of 7 professionals, with a focus on efficiency, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Strategic business partner to executive management, providing proactive financial insights, scenario analysis, and decision support to drive sustainable growth
  • Oversight and integrity of financial reporting under HGB, while ensuring seamless alignment and reporting interface with the holding company under LUX GAAP
  • Direct contact and sparring partner to local and group leadership on all financial, operational, and compliance-related matters
  • Primary point of contact for external stakeholders including auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities, ensuring transparency and strong relationships

Requirements profile

· Completed university degree (e.g. business administration) with a focus on finance and accounting - or comparable training

· Several years of relevant professional experience in the described area of responsibility

· Proven leadership responsibility in a comparable position

· Extensive knowledge of MS Office programs and SAP

· Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

· High level of responsibility and commitment as well as cross-departmental thinking and acting

· Independent, structured and conceptual work

· Sound understanding of production-related relationships

· "Hands-on mentality", ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
