Director of IT / Germany / Energy Trading

We are looking for a Director of IT to support a significant multi-year technology transformation and systems optimisation programme spanning Front Office to Back Office. You will play a key role in shaping the future trading technology landscape, driving strategic transformation across the full trading lifecycle. You will align technology capabilities with business goals, defining roadmaps and leading delivery programmes that enhance efficiency, scalability, and commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Support a significant multi-year technology transformation and systems optimisation programme spanning Front Office to Back Office.
• Shape the future trading technology landscape, drive strategic transformation across the full trading lifecycle, and align technology capabilities with business goals.
• Define roadmaps and lead delivery programmes that enhance efficiency, scalability, and commercial performance.
• Lead large-scale technology teams, deliver complex enterprise trading technology transformations, and partner with senior business and IT stakeholders to bridge the gap between trading operations and technology.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading large-scale technology teams and delivering complex enterprise trading technology transformations.
• Experience partnering with senior business and IT stakeholders and strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to bridge the gap between trading operations and technology.
• Location: Germany (relocation required).
