At our site in Böblingen you will find both as EDA to ATE Applications Engineer (m/f/d) Your Responsibilities Deploy and support Velocity EDA-to-ATE conversion flows for strategic semiconductor customers Develop and optimize automated conversion methodologies for STIL, WGL, EVCD, IJTAG, and SSN environments Support conversion and debug flows targeting Advantest V93000/ST8 platforms Analyze and resolve conversion, timing, protocol, and pattern integration issues Work directly with customer DFT, Design, Validation, and Test Engineering teams Develop automation scripts and utilities using Python, Java, and related technologies Support AI-assisted engineering workflows for: Pattern debug and diagnostics Log parsing and structured data analysis Conversion validation and regression analysis Automated script and code generation Assist in development of scalable conversion infrastructure and peak-bandwidth automation environments Collaborate with Velocity core engineering on feature enhancements and customer requirements Support customer training, deployment, and technical workshops globally Your Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field Experience with semiconductor EDA-to-ATE conversion environments Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Velocity, Test Insight, VTRAN, TSSI Strong understanding of DFT and semiconductor test methodologies Experience with STIL, WGL, EVCD, or related pattern formats Programming experience in Python, Java, Perl, and/or C++ Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills Ability to work directly with customers in high-pressure production environments Strong communication and technical presentation skills Our offer Flexibility Benefits Development Fitness Security Flexible and trust-based working hours, 30 vacation days + option for additional vacation days, mobile working, individual part-time models and programs for extended periods of absence Attractive salary, share in Advantest ́s success through our exceptionally appealing bonus program as well as numerous subsidies, discounts and offerings (e.g. bike leasing) Structured onboarding programs and mentoring, development discussions, technical and soft skill trainings, language courses and knowledge sessions Ergonomic working environment, sports and fitness options and events (e.g. Global Challenge) as well as health days Attractive company pension scheme, comprehensive insurance coverage and support in emergency situations Take your next career step with us!
