Embedded Software Test Engineer and Test Manager (m/f/d)
Aschheim / Munich | Full-time
Your Responsibilities
- You will ensure the quality of our embedded software throughout the entire development cycle—from test design to release.
- You will develop, automate, and optimize test solutions at the unit, integration, and system levels, utilizing modern methods and AI-supported approaches.
- You will analyze defects, identify opportunities for improvement, and actively contribute to enhancing product quality and reliability.
- You will define, manage, and further develop the test strategy for our embedded products and ensure transparent quality metrics and test results.
- You will coordinate testing activities and work closely with development, systems engineering, and internal and external partners.
- You will support certification, audit, and functional safety activities and drive the continuous improvement of testing processes, methods, and tools.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering
- Ideally, at least three years of experience in testing embedded systems, as well as in-depth knowledge of C and, ideally, Rust
- Experience with modern testing methods, particularly in the area of AI-supported test automation, as well as with Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) environments
- Experience testing functional safety applications in accordance with relevant standards such as EN ISO 13849, EN/IEC 61508, and ISO 26262
- Practical experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as VectorCAST, Tessy, or Google Test
- Additional practical experience with the Rust programming language is desirable
