About the team: Zoom Spaces is an intelligent platform transforming physical workspaces into inclusive, AI‐powered environments. It includes Zoom Rooms, Workspace Reservation, Visitor Management, Kiosk, Digital Signage, Scheduling Displays, and AI Companion experiences. Supported by a hardware and software ecosystem, partners include HP, Logitech, Google, Cisco, and Meta.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the complete P&L for Zoom Spaces, including revenue, margin, attachment rates, and investment distribution across the portfolio.
  • Defining and executing commercial strategies, including segmentation, pricing, packaging, platform attachment initiatives, and expanding into new buyer centers such as IT, Workplace, Facilities, and HR.
  • Partnering with the Zoom sales organization to deliver enablement, develop sales plays, align quotas, and provide support for strategic deployment initiatives.
  • Representing the market and customer voice in product roadmap prioritization while co‐owning business cases for significant investments linked to revenue and adoption outcomes.
  • Leading hardware and ecosystem strategy, strengthening relationships with device partners, and overseeing Zoom Custom AV and ISV Exchange programs to drive distinct differentiation.
  • Driving AI commercialization by converting AI Companion features (Intelligent Director, Recorder, proactive Workspace Reservation, voice control) into tangible customer outcomes and profitable differentiation.
  • Owning Zoom's external narrative for the intelligent office category, representing the business with analysts, clients, media, and at industry events.
  • Operating the quarterly business schedule, delivering precise forecasts, and presenting investment proposals to the executive team and board.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, including meaningful tenure running a P&L or commercial business at a software or platform company.
  • Demonstrate experience growing a business in hybrid work, workplace technology, collaboration, or audiovisual (AV) and devices, with deep knowledge of buyer, channel, and category dynamics.
  • Demonstrate expertise in hardware and AV ecosystems, including OEM partnerships, device approval processes, channel strategies, and AV systems integrators.
  • Track record of commercializing AI or product‐led growth motions as a measurable lever for attach, expansion, or new‐segment acquisition.
  • Demonstrate exceptional collaboration skills to refine business cases and work effectively with product leadership without taking on a product management role.
  • Demonstrate expertise in go‐to‐market strategies, managing revenue goals, creating sales initiatives, and ensuring effective execution within a large field sales team.
  • Demonstrate professionalism to represent the business effectively to customers, industry analysts, and the board of directors.
  • Hold qualifications in Business, Engineering, or a related field, with advanced education or equivalent expertise considered an advantage.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience at a platform company where the general management role functions within a larger product portfolio rather than as an independent business.
  • Experience in international or global business, as Zoom Spaces operates globally with buyer behavior varying significantly across regions.
  • Demonstrate prior experience with business models combining subscription and hardware components.

Compensation

Salary Range: Minimum: $258,900.00; Maximum: $577,700.00. In addition to the base salary and/or OTE, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus, and equity value. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications and experience. We also have a location‐based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
