What You’ll Do
Global Head of Total Rewards Frameworks and Design (f/m/d)
The leader of this position is responsible for the strategic design and execution of executive and non‐executive compensation, company‐wide compensation budgeting, equity programs, base pay structures, M&A integration, and overall compensation frameworks, including fair pay practices. The role works closely with the Total Rewards team and the HR organization to drive employee engagement, optimize reward packages, and support strategic objectives and sustainable business results.
- Lead and mentor the Total Rewards design team, fostering a collaborative and high‐performance culture.
- Oversee design and implementation of competitive compensation strategies that align with the company’s goals and market practices.
- Lead the annual compensation budgeting process, collaborating with finance and other stakeholders to allocate resources effectively.
- Ensure compensation practices comply with regulatory requirements and governance standards.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and conduct regular benchmarking analyses to keep compensation programs competitive.
- Effectively communicate compensation plans to executives and key stakeholders, providing clarity and transparency.
- Oversee design and legal compliance of equity‐based compensation plans, including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), and performance shares.
- Oversee comprehensive compensation due diligence during M&A activities, assessing risks and opportunities and crafting integration plans for post‐M&A alignment.
- Monitor fair pay practices, promoting pay equity and transparency across the organization.
- Engage with stakeholders such as Executive Board, Supervisory Board representatives, and senior leaders in HR, Finance, Legal, and other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated compensation strategies.
- Support continuous development of team members through training, coaching, and performance feedback.
What You Bring
- Proven experience (10+ years) in Total Rewards or Compensation management, particularly in design processes.
- Strong understanding of executive and non‐executive compensation, equity programs, and global compensation frameworks.
- Experience building strong relationships with C‐suite executives and expertise in compensation benchmarking, budgeting, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to develop and inspire a high‐performing team.
Education and Qualifications
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant certification is a plus.
