Overview
Shape and drive an integrated external and internal communications strategy aligned with the Human Pharma Business Unit’s priorities and the Global Corporate Affairs agenda. Define and implement an integrated internal and external communications strategy for the Human Pharma Business Unit. Maintain, develop, and further strengthen the HPBU narrative and its positive perception. Partner closely with Therapeutic Areas and TA Asset Leads to develop an integrated product communications strategy. Build, lead, and develop a strong product communications team. Oversee business unit issue management plans and procedures. Collaborate with Group Sustainable Development Communications to anchor the HPBU communication strategy to the company’s sustainability ambitions. Support executive communications for key leaders in the business.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Extensive communications leadership experience, including setting strategic direction and leading diverse communications teams, with a track record of mentoring and coaching communications professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of the human pharma industry.
- Proven track record in business unit and product communications, including media/press relations, corporate brand and reputation management, digital communications, and crisis and change management.
- Significant international experience in global roles or environments with substantial international exposure.
- Strong commercial and market understanding to develop effective and relevant key messages.
- Strategic, creative, and business-savvy communicator with the ability to advise and influence senior leaders on communications best practices for any situation.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German and additional languages is a plus.
