Head of IT Tower - Enterprise Business Platforms (m/f/x)

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to drive our global Enterprise Business Platforms organization within Corporate IT. The role is responsible for defining and executing the strategy, governance, operations and transformation of our global enterprise application landscape and related service towers. The successful candidate will ensure operational excellence, platform standardisation and continuous modernisation while acting as a strategic partner to business and technology leadership. Internal title: IT Tower Manager Enterprise Business Platforms (m/f/x).

Creating passion: your responsibilities

• Define and execute the global Enterprise Business Platforms strategy and roadmap.
• Own the global enterprise platform portfolio and operating model.
• Lead platform modernisation, rationalisation and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Drive operational excellence across all platform service towers.
• Define global governance, standards and service management frameworks.
• Build and manage strategic technology vendor partnerships.
• Lead globally distributed teams and managed service providers.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, scalability and cost efficiency.
• Drive automation, AI enablement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and continuously evolve a product‐centric and service‐oriented operating model.

Contributing your strengths: your qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in Enterprise Technology, Platform Management or IT Operations leadership.
• Strong experience managing global enterprise applications and platform organisations.
• Proven track record in large‐scale transformation and modernisation programs.
• Deep understanding of enterprise applications and service delivery models.
• Strong financial and vendor management capabilities.Excellent executive stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and organisational capabilities.
