As Head of Product Management & Product Strategy, you will shape the future of our software and robotics solutions. You will be responsible for the direction of our product portfolio, drive innovation, and work closely with senior management.
Your Mission
You will develop a clear product vision, lead highly qualified teams, and ensure the market success of our security software, AI-powered video analytics, and robotics systems. In doing so, you will combine strategic foresight with operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
Strategic Product & Portfolio Responsibility
- Leadership and further development of the IPS (Video Analytics, Munich) and Robotics (Achern) centers of excellence, as well as the Product Delivery / Product Management division at the Achern headquarters.
- Developing a market- and technology-oriented product strategy
- Responsibility for the roadmap, prioritization, and the entire product lifecycle
- Analyzing relevant trends (security, AI, video analytics, robotics)
- Shaping long-term product visions in alignment with corporate strategy
Product Management & Agile Steering
- Ensuring efficient, agile development processes
- Defining clear, customer-centric product requirements
- Managing initiatives, releases, and innovation projects
- Working closely with development, sales, marketing, service, and external technology partners
- Ensuring product compliance across all three areas (software, robotics, product delivery)
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of both centers of excellence
- Promoting a performance-oriented, agile team culture
- Further developing the organization for future technologies and markets
Business & Stakeholder Management
- Liaison role within the corporate group—including participation in committees focused on international product management
- Presentation of strategic product decisions to senior management
- Management of business cases, investments, and ROI analyses
- Representation of product divisions to customers, partners, and industry associations
Your Profile
- Degree in computer science, engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
- Several years of relevant industry experience in electronic safety and security technology
- Several years of experience in product management for software or technology-oriented systems
- In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or similar)
- Experience leading technical teams as well as managing complex project or line structures
- Desirable: Expertise in security technologies, video analytics, robotics, or AI
- Bonus points: Experience with change projects, transformations, or building new product lines

- Willingness to travel as required by the job is a prerequisite.
