Head of Search & AI Visibility

What you can expect

You will own Zoom’s end-to-end search strategy across traditional SEO and AI-powered answer engines. You will build unified infrastructure, metrics, and content standards that make Zoom discoverable wherever search happens. You will deliver measurable visibility growth and establish share-of-answer as an executive-level performance metric.

About the Team

We deliver Zoom’s discoverability across all search surfaces, from Google to ChatGPT. Our team integrates technical SEO, AI visibility, and content strategy into one unified discipline. We exist to ensure customers find Zoom first, regardless of how they search.

Responsibilities

• Leading the technical SEO team and roadmap, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, and structured data implementation
• Building AI-search visibility strategy and infrastructure to optimize Zoom’s presence in generative AI surfaces like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini
• Establishing and tracking share-of-answer metrics across category, competitive, and branded prompts, reporting to executive staff and the board
• Partnering with Web, Growth Marketing, Brand, Content, and Product Marketing teams to create unified content architecture and governance standards
• Developing a unified search scorecard that translates organic performance and AI-visibility metrics into pipeline and revenue impact

What we’re looking for

• Lead technical SEO functions at scale, including site architecture, schema implementation, and organic traffic optimization
• Build or scale AI-search and answer-engine visibility programs using platforms like Profound or equivalent tools
• Direct engineering-adjacent work on crawlability, structured data, and indexation while communicating strategy to executive stakeholdersDefine and defend emerging metrics like share-of-answer alongside established SEO performance indicators
• Demonstrate experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environments
• Show familiarity with AI-visibility tracking platforms and citation-influence analysis

Salary Range or On Target Earnings

Minimum: $126,500.00

Maximum: $276,700.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
