This is a strategic leadership role with real operational accountability. You will shape how IT services are delivered across a diverse region, eliminate complexity where it doesn't add value, and build a team and culture that local employees trust and global leadership can rely on.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Region – Own the full people agenda for Tech Infrastructure & Service Delivery across EMEA – hiring, developing, engaging, and retaining local IT talent
- Set the operational direction for Tech Infrastructure & Service Delivery across EMEA, aligning local teams to global strategy and standards
- Serve as the primary point of escalation and executive representation for Tech Infrastructure & Service Delivery matters across the EMEA markets
- Be the Bridge – Translate global Tech Infrastructure platform standard, policies, and roadmaps into actionable plans that EMEA local teams can execute
- Represent EMEA in global IT planning, investment decisions, and transformation initiatives
- Build productive, trust-based relationships with global Engineering and Operations peers
- Deliver with Discipline – Maintain operational oversight of local infrastructure: networks, endpoints, meeting room technology, and on-site infrastructure across EMEA markets
- Drive the systematic reduction of locally grown IT solutions in favor of globally standardized platforms
- Guide and support local IT budget owners across EMEA through planning and forecasting cycles; consolidate regional budget data and drive cost efficiency across locations
- Partner with the Business – Build strong relationships with EMEA business stakeholders and country‐level management
- Ensure IT is perceived as a reliable, enabling, and forward‐looking partner in every EMEA market
Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 4 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of managing IT operations across multiple countries or sites within a multinational environment
- Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (networks, workplace technology, endpoints, cloud services) and IT service delivery and management
- Demonstrated experience bridging global and local IT – ideally in a regional IT director type of function
- Strong influencing skills – effective with IT engineers, country managers, and global executives
- Track record of successfully steering teams toward standardization
- Eye for good IT service from the end user’s perspective, not just the infrastructure team’s
- People‐first approach to team leadership – develop IT talent, not just manage capacity
- Fluency in English; German is a significant advantage
- Willingness to travel across EMEA locations (approx. 15‐20%)
- Experience in consumer goods, retail, or lifestyle/fashion industry is a plus
