Managing Director – Almü Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH

Almü, a niche leader in high‐performance precision tools, is seeking a Managing Director to drive growth and innovation in our specialized Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) tooling business. The role reports directly to Sandvik Coromant and carries full accountability for the company’s performance and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• Hold full P&L responsibility and lead the overall business.
• Define and execute growth strategies across products, markets, and technologies.
• Drive sales performance and strengthen key customer relationships.
• Ensure operational excellence across production, engineering, and supply chain.
• Lead and develop a high‐performing team.
• Advance innovation capabilities in PCD and precision tooling.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience within manufacturing or tooling environments.
• Deep understanding of precision machining, particularly PCD and carbide applications.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing business performance.
• Proven ability to lead through strategy execution and growth delivery.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Collaborative and confident leadership style that inspires teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of translating strategy into execution and delivering sustainable business results.

Location & Flexibility

The position is based at Almü’s office in Germany, with flexibility for operational requirements.
