R&D Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Development and optimization of 3D/CAD models for numerical simulations, prototyping, and technical applications
• Execution of multiphysics simulations using COMSOL Multiphysics, including model setup, meshing, and result validation
• Design and evaluation of force sensing and measurement systems, including calibration, data acquisition, and analysis
• Support of R&D projects through numerical analyses, experimental investigations, data evaluation, and technical solution development
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and external partners, as well as preparation and presentation of technical and scientific documentation and results

Your Profile

• Master’s degree or higher degree(University,FH) in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field
• Experience with COMSOL Multiphysics, finite element methods (FEM), and numerical simulations
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, CATIA, or NX) as well as knowledge of MATLAB and/or Python
• Experience in force measurement technology, laboratory instrumentation, prototyping, and experimental validation
• Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently in interdisciplinary research environments as well as excellent written and spoken English skills
