Job Overview
Discovery Management Group is seeking a Regional Director of Sales (RDS) to partner with communities in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. This role requires approximately 75% travel and offers a base salary of $140,000–$150,000 with an annual performance bonus target of 25%.
What You’ll Do
- Champion sales performance by driving move‐ins and helping communities achieve census goals
- Partner with Executive Directors and Regional Operations Leaders to coach and support on‐site Senior Lifestyle Counselors (SLCs) and Coordinators
- Conduct site visits to assess sales operations and provide in‐person coaching and audits
- Analyze sales activity and conversion data, providing actionable insights and consistent reporting
- Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for new and tenured sales associates
- Help recruit, screen, and onboard new SLC talent in partnership with leadership
- Oversee CRM utilization, lead tracking, and compliance with sales best practices
- Manage sales tools and programs such as mystery shopping, recorded call reviews, and compensation plan implementation
- Maintain a deep understanding of market conditions, competition, and pricing strategy
- Drive team motivation and performance through leadership, accountability, and culture‐building
What You Bring
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in a dynamic sales environment, with 3+ years in a regional or multi‐site sales leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Demonstrated success coaching high‐performing sales professionals
- Experience with CRM systems and reporting dashboards
- Ability to influence cross‐functional leaders and build trusted relationships across teams
- Strong communication, problem‐solving, and presentation skills
- Passion for serving older adults and enhancing their journey into senior living
Desired:
- Senior living or healthcare sales experience
- Experience designing or implementing regional sales strategies across multiple locations
- Familiarity with value‐based pricing models and local competitive landscapes
Work Environment & Travel
This role requires approximately 75% travel to the assigned region, balancing community visits, virtual coaching, and administrative duties.
