Senior Corporate Counsel

Responsibilities

• build and maintain the legal operations infrastructure
• manage and coordinate outside counsel selection and relationships
• establish enterprise-wide governance frameworks
• conduct a comprehensive audit of Anova’s global customer and commercial contracting landscape
• optimize Anova’s global legal entity structure across all jurisdictions
• lead the legal function for acquisitions
• ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• facilitate proactive and cost-effective IP portfolio management
• serve as the organization’s primary point of contact on all litigation, disputes, and legal proceedings

Requirements

• 8+ years of legal experience
• meaningful prior in-house experience
• law firm background in corporate, commercial, or technology transactions welcomed
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• active bar membership in good standing
• solid working knowledge of corporate law, including M&A and commercial contracts
• hands-on experience building or operating contract lifecycle management processes
• working knowledge of legal management platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• demonstrated ability to operate autonomously
