Chief Financial Officer

Overview

Palmia is seeking a development-oriented CFO to build our growth story. As CFO, you will lead the finance, ICT, and procurement teams, ensuring profitable growth and aligning business operations with financial goals. You will oversee forecasts, development projects, accounting accuracy, financial statements, and taxation, along with real estate, risk management, data protection, and sustainability reporting. You will promote process improvements, automation, and AI adoption, participate in board meetings with the CEO, and report to the CEO Mikko. You will be part of a business-driven leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. The team consists of 15 people, with five directly reporting to you. The office is located at Duetto Business Park in Käpylä, Helsinki, with a flexible hybrid work model. The position is permanent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance, ICT, and procurement teams and drive profitable growth.
• Oversee forecasts, development projects, accounting accuracy, financial statements, and taxation.
• Manage real estate, risk management, data protection, and sustainability reporting.
• Promote process improvements, automation, and AI adoption across the organization.
• Participate in board meetings with the CEO and report to the CEO Mikko.
• Contribute to a business-driven leadership team and oversee a team of 15, with five direct reports.
• Support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment of operations with financial goals.
