A.C.Coy is currently seeking candidates for a Chief People Officer role. This individual will build and scale a world-class people organization inside a fast-growing, multi-site enterprise, driving measurable improvements in hiring, retention, leadership capability, and workforce performance.
Our ideal candidate will have 15+ years of progressive Human Resources experience and demonstrated executive-level success in leading teams responsible for benefits administration, payroll, talent acquisition, compensation, and performance management.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to an HR team of 15 including 6 direct reports
- Serve as strategic advisor to CEO and executive team on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, talent strategy, and cultural direction
- Build scalable recruiting processes to reduce time-to-fill and improve quality-of-hire
- Implement performance systems with clear expectations, measurable outcomes, and meaningful consequences
- Design leadership development programs that create promotable talent across all levels
- Own compensation and incentive design to align labor spend with performance and profitability
- Modernize HR systems, analytics, and reporting to give leaders real-time visibility into workforce metrics
- Lead employee relations, compliance, and risk mitigation across multi-state operations
Qualifications
Required:
- 15+ years of progressive Human Resources experience within an enterprise-level, multi-location company
- Specific experience providing strategic direction to an HR department and an organization as a whole (min. of 1K employees)
- 5+ years of experience providing supervision, coaching, and mentoring to Managers and Directors
- Excellent computer skills with a strong knowledge of leading HRIS and HCM technologies
Preferred:
- Specific experience leading M&A people integration
- Any experience interfacing with labor unions and leading union negotiations
- Any experience with international payroll/employment law - Mexico and/or Canada
