Working with multinational teams across engineering, project management, and site operations, you will lead commissioning activities from factory testing through to on-site execution.You'll be responsible for ensuring HVDC control, protection, and high-voltage systems are safely commissioned, fully compliant, and ready for operation. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to work on large-scale international projects that directly support the global energy transition.How You'll Make an Impact- Lead the safe, reliable, and efficient commissioning of HVDC projects from factory testing through to site execution.
- Coordinate and develop international commissioning teams, ensuring strong collaboration and high performance throughout project delivery.
- Oversee Factory System Tests (FST) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), ensuring systems meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
- Drive effective communication and coordination between project stakeholders to enable successful site execution.
- Support project management activities including risk management, quality assurance, claims management, and non-conformance resolution.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout all commissioning activities.
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant experience commissioning large-scale power generation, transmission, HVDC, or energy infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coordinating multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Good understanding of project management principles, risk management, and project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
- Willingness to travel internationally, including extended site assignments where required.
