Discover your exciting roleAs Construction Area Manager Mechanical (m/f/d), you will take responsibility for the mechanical scope within a defined construction or building area of our complex high-tech projects in the semiconductor and data center industries. You will ensure that construction activities within your area are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesOverall responsibility for the execution of mechanical works within a defined construction, building, or project areaManagement and coordination of construction activities, particularly in HVAC, piping, utilities, and building servicesLeadership and coordination of the project team and subcontractors as well as acting as a key interface with clients, engineering teams, and other disciplinesPlanning and monitoring of schedules, costs, quality, and construction progress, including early identification of risks and deviationsEnsuring compliance with EHS and quality standards, including site inspections, acceptance activities, and defect managementShow your expertiseTechnical qualification as a Master Craftsman or Technician or a degree in Building Services Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable technical qualificationSeveral years of professional experience in site supervision or construction management of mechanical disciplines within complex large-scale projectsExperience in industrial or plant construction, ideally within the semiconductor or data center industryStrong technical knowledge in areas such as HVAC, piping, utilities, process utilities, or building services, combined with experience in leading teams and subcontractorsVery good German and English skills, at least B2 level, as well as willingness to travel and work on project sites within the D-A-CH regionContact:You want to be part of the Exyte team?
