Customer Business Manager – Impulse & Ireland
(Home based role with occasional travel to the office for meetings)
You will be a key member in continuing the brands turnaround since the Capri Son Group took back control of the GB market in March 2024 from our previous distribution partner. We have 90%+ brand awareness and the number 1 still orange product and your task is simply to ensure this product is in every independent retail outlet in GB. You will embody the Capri Sun spirit, values and aim to generate millions more smiles.
Your Tasks
· You are responsible for the expansion and further development of Capri-Sun within your allocated customers with full P & L responsibility (distribution, turnover, margin mix, sales, profit).
· You are the first point of contact for your customers, lead all negotiations and escalate where necessary.
· Build a stakeholder map and influence the relevant stakeholders at your customers to ensure best in class visibility, promotions, brand activations and listings of the Capri Sun brand.
· You constantly track and analyse markets, competition, customers, pricing, portfolio, placements and promotions to ensure you always have a winning customer plan.
· You course correct if your plan is not working and the financial targets are not being achieved.
· You are responsible for cost planning and cost notifications regarding projects and activities of your customers.
· You own forecasting & reporting for your customers, improve forecast accuracy, identify risks & opportunities.
Your Profile
· Strong understanding of the GB wholesale and convenience retail (impulse) landscape and how the route to market works in order to maximise shelf presence and rate of sale in store. It would be useful to have experience with impulse retailers.
· Experience working within the Irish retail landscape and / or managing international distribution partners to drive brand growth and strengthen market presence in the region.
· Ownership mentality with customers, delivering results & seeking new opportunities. Business owner outlook.
· Emotionally intelligent, understands the importance of strong cross-functional collaboration.
· Natural problem solver with a hands-on mentality and strong organizational skills
· Demonstrates a sense of urgency yet remains calm under pressure.
· Resilient & self-motivated to see projects through to completion and doesn’t take no for an answer.
