EMC Expert/EMEC Technical Specialist (Automotive Electronics)

We are currently recruiting for one of our client·s, a major player in e-mobility and advanced automotive electronics 🚗⚙️

To support their development, we are looking for an experienced EMC Expert / EMC Technical Specialist (H/F/X) for a 9-month contract based in Luxembourg.

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, EMC, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in EMC within automotive power electronics
  • Strong experience working with OEMs on HV systems (inverters, DC/DC, BMS...)
  • Deep expertise in EMC design, high-frequency behavior, and parasitic effects
  • Solid knowledge of EMC standards (CISPR, ISO...) and validation processes
  • Proficiency with simulation tools (CST, ANSYS, SPICE...) and EMC testing tools
  • Strong analytical mindset with structured problem-solving skills
  • Proven technical leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English (French or German is a plus)

our main responsibilities:

  • Define and own the EMC architecture for advanced automotive power electronic systems
  • Establish and drive EMC validation plans in line with automotive and OEM standards
  • Lead EMC design and mitigation strategies (shielding, grounding, filtering, EMI optimization...)
  • Perform and coordinate advanced EMC simulations (conducted/radiated emissions, immunity...)
  • Guide PCB design for high-frequency switching applications
  • Lead EMC troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions (8D methodology)
  • Support and oversee EMC testing campaigns (CISPR 25, ISO 11452, ISO 7637...)
  • Interface directly with OEMs for technical reviews, validation, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, software, mechanical, and system teams
  • Contribute to internal best practices and knowledge sharing
