The Head of Programs & Adoption leads the Programs & Adoption pillar of the Global Sales Excellence organization. This role provides strategic leadership, people management, and execution oversight for global commercial programs, ensuring initiatives are delivered through teams and adopted consistently across regions.
This position plays a critical role in building the commercial backbone largely from the ground up, establishing the programs, operating rhythms, and adoption mechanisms that will enable scalable, predictable commercial execution globally. We are looking for a trusted advisor who has experience actively partnering on strategy, planning, sequencing, and next step decisions. As well as bringing forward ideas, challenging assumptions, and helping to shape the future direction of the commercial organization, while ensuring successful execution and adoption.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Own the global portfolio of commercial programs from strategy through execution, adoption, and measurable business outcomes
- Define the long-term vision and multi-year roadmap for global commercial programs and adoption
- Translate strategy into a clearly prioritized and sequenced portfolio of initiatives
- Proactively bring ideas, recommendations, and structured frameworks to executive leadership
- Set clear direction while ensuring disciplined execution through others
Trusted Advisor & Strategic Partner
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Vice President, Sales Excellence and Operations
- Partner closely with senior leaders on transformation initiatives and long-range planning
- Provide strategic guidance on sequencing, dependencies, and next-step decisions
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary global team
- Set clear expectations, objectives, and accountability across leaders and individual contributors
- Coach, mentor, and develop talent while fostering a culture of collaboration and ownership
- Remain accountable for outcomes and adoption rather than individual task execution
Program Oversight & Execution Governance
- Orchestrate complex, cross-functional initiatives in a highly matrixed global environment
- Establish effective governance models, operating rhythms, and decision frameworks
- Ensure consistent execution through internal teams and external partners
- Drive adoption by embedding programs and initiatives into daily workflows and behaviors
- Balance global standardization with regional needs to ensure relevance, alignment, and impact
- Lead change management efforts to support sustained adoption and business value
Cross-Functional Influence & Alignment
- Influence stakeholders across functions without direct authority
- Proactively resolve friction, navigate complexity, and unblock progress
- Align teams around shared goals, priorities, and outcomes
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define success metrics tied to adoption, impact, and commercial performance
- Monitor outcomes and continuously assess effectiveness of initiatives
- Refine, scale, or sunset programs based on data, results, and business priorities
Your Profile
- Min. 8+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Enablement, or Program Leadership.
- Experience driving global change and the ability to think strategically at a global level.
- Ability to oversee and manage the CRM landscape, ensuring adoption, data quality, and alignment with sales and commercial processes.
- Excellent communication skills with senior leaders and a strong focus on data based decisions.
- Proven experience leading business transformations.
- Experience with program and project governance.
- Strong change management capabilities and self motivated with a positive and hands on mindset.
- Willingness to travel globally up to 20%, including periodic international travel to support program(s) execution and regional alignment/adoption.
- Fluent language skills in English (Level C1/C2).
