Role Overview


As a Managing Partner, you will lead strategic engagements with CIOs and senior business leaders, helping them execute transformation strategies and maximize ROI from IT programs. You’ll be responsible for growing Gartner Consulting’s footprint across key accounts in the DACH region, ensuring high‐impact delivery and long‐term client success.


Responsibilities


  • Serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs and senior executives, guiding them through strategy execution and transformation.

  • Ensure clients realise the full value of their IT investments, from digital enablement to cost optimisation and vendor ecosystem management.

  • Lead cross‐functional teams to deliver Gartner Consulting solutions that align with clients’ mission‐critical priorities.

  • Drive business development, account growth, and margin improvement across your portfolio.

  • Collaborate with Expert Partners and Gartner Research to bring cutting‐edge insights into execution.

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts in the Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Retail & Utility sectors.

  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals and business plans that link Gartner insights to client outcomes.

  • Lead execution of transformation programmes, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.

  • Build and lead high‐performing consulting teams that deliver measurable impact.

  • Maintain strong relationships with Gartner Research and internal stakeholders to ensure integrated delivery.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in a top‐tier management consultancy, with a focus on strategy execution and client impact.

  • Deep understanding of IT transformation, including digital enablement, artificial intelligence, application modernisation, cloud strategy, sourcing and vendor management, and cost optimisation.

  • Strong track record of C‐level engagement, particularly with CIOs.

  • Demonstrated success in business development, account management, and revenue growth.

  • Ability to inspire and lead diverse teams toward shared goals.

  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for solving complex business challenges.

  • Fluent in German and English.
