Medical Science Liaison Manager Oncology – West (f/m/d)

Responsibilities
- Identify and develop relationships with national and regional medical and scientific KOLs.
- Engage in scientific exchange and education about current and emerging therapies with KOLs (advisory boards, individual meetings, congresses).
- Develop and maintain scientific, clinical and therapeutic expertise in Oncology.
- Represent Ipsen at continuing medical educational events, programs, medical meetings and scientific conventions.
- Collaborate with clinical development to identify and engage appropriate sites for Ipsen trials and disease concepts for product differentiation.
- Differentiate Ipsen as the scientific partner of choice through innovative initiatives, coordinated strategy, and scientific communication.
- Provide scientific, clinical, and educational support to internal cross‐functional customers, including other MSL team members.
- Support medical publications (abstracts, manuscripts, etc.).
- Support commercial operations by participating in Speaker and Representative Training.
- Lead or participate on special project teams as needed.
- Provide medical affairs support to all stakeholders, ensuring operations are patient‐focused.
Qualifications
- Advanced scientific, healthcare, or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD).
- Medical/paramedical practice or research career (hospital, university research, pharmaceutical industry research, or medical affairs).
- At least 2 years of experience in an MSL or related role.
- Recent experience in Oncology (advantageous).
- Proven track record as an MSL or medical department professional in a previous company.
- Experience delivering scientific presentations and developing relationships with thought leaders.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to synthesize and present medical information clearly.
- Knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations and guidelines.
- Team player with solution‐oriented approach and good communication skills.
- Ability to travel 60–80% within the region.
- Business fluent in German and English.
