At MED-EL's Strategic Purchasing Team, we make a significant contribution to the global availability of our innovative hearing implant solutions. Together, we work to ensure a reliable supply of high-quality materials and components that are essential for the manufacturing of our hearing implant solutions.

Your Tasks

• Systematic analysis of demand, pricing, suppliers, and procurement markets to support the development of an optimal product and supplier portfolio
• Development, implementation, and continuous optimization of procurement strategies for defined material groups
• Active participation and contribution in product development projects
• Support of supplier management activities, including supplier sourcing, -selection, -onboarding, and -evaluation, as well as active participation in supplier meetings
• Negotiation of quantities, prices, and annual agreements with supplier

Your Profile

• Completed commercial education (e.g., business college) or an advanced commercial or technical qualification (university or university of applied sciences); relevant purchasing experience is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems (focus on SAP)
• Strong organizational skills, negotiation abilities, confidence in professional interactions, and a proactive mindset
• Reliable, responsible, and self-driven working style with a high level of personal accountability
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Further information

Salary will be determined based on professional experience; the formal minimum salary according to Collective Bargaining Agreement is € 47,810.14.
