Clinical Research Associate II (CRA II)

Our client is a highly respected global CRO with deep expertise in complex and specialist therapeutic areas. Consistently outperforming the wider market, they have built an excellent reputation for scientific expertise, operational excellence, and delivering high-quality clinical trials across international studies.

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced CRA II to support studies across the DACH region but must be based in Germany.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to join a collaborative and well-established clinical operations team, working on innovative studies within specialist therapeutic areas. You'll be given the autonomy to independently manage sites while partnering with sponsors and investigators to ensure successful study delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all monitoring activities including SIVs, IMVs and COVs
  • Independently manage assigned investigative sites across the DACH region
  • Ensure studies are conducted in accordance with ICH-GCP, protocol requirements, and applicable regulations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with investigators and site personnel
  • Support patient recruitment and site performance initiatives
  • Review site documentation, data quality, and protocol compliance
  • Prepare monitoring reports and maintain study documentation within required timelines

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Clinical Research Associate
  • Ability to independently perform on-site monitoring visits
  • Strong understanding of ICH-GCP and clinical trial regulations
  • Experience working within a CRO environment is highly desirable
  • Therapeutic area experience in Respiratory, Kidney/Renal, or Transplant studies is essential
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the DACH region
