As Head of Global Commercial Excellence - Data Center Logistics, you will drive profitable global growth across hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center operators, and the broader data center industry ecosystem. Your role is to act as a senior commercial partner, shaping and expanding complex, multi-country programs by translating mission-critical deployment needs into scalable, executable commercial models and long-term partnerships (this role does not manage day-to-day operations).
Responsibilities
- Drive global revenue and margin growth by owning the commercial strategy for Data Center Logistics and acting as trusted C-suite commercial partner to hyperscale's, colocation providers, enterprise customers, and relevant ecosystem partners.
- Lead and align with global stakeholders across commercial, operating, engineering, product and business to position DHL Group as long-term, strategic partner within the global data center ecosystem.
- Translate deep, hands-on knowledge of Data Center Logistics (DCL) requirements into sustainable, scalable, and executable commercial solutions across deployment lifecycles.
- Establish repeatable commercial playbooks tailored to hyperscale and data center environments, standardizing pricing logic, proposals, assumptions, and governance globally.
- Ensure strong sell-to-deliver alignment and act as senior escalation point for customer-critical and commercially sensitive DCL programs.
- Contribute to the future growth of the Data Center Logistics commercial organization, with a clear aspiration to expand scope, capabilities, and teams in line with global demand.
Experience & Profile
- Proven track record in senior commercial leadership roles within Data Center Logistics industry, preferably with direct exposure to hyperscale's and large-scale data center programs.
- Strong commercial expertise in enterprise solution selling for Data Center Logistics environments, including strategic pricing, complex negotiation, forecasting, and margin management.
- Active, in-depth understanding of data center supply chains, deployment-driven logistics models, high-value equipment flows, and time-critical delivery windows.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across a global matrix organization without direct authority, particularly in complex DCL settings.
- Comfortable operating at executive level, leading customer workshops, and representing the business within the global data center industry.
