Job Description
We’re seeking a Senior Test Manager responsible for end-to-end testing strategy, governance, and delivery for large-scale S/4HANA transformation program, driving industrialized testing, automation adoption and global coordination across multiple releases and rollouts. Over 15+ years total experience with proficiency in strategizing, planning, stakeholders management and onsite-offshore coordination.
Skills
- Proficiency in driving test strategy, planning and execution
- Experience in SAP modules (Any SAP module) – S/4HANA
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong in Test Factory setup & Industrialization and driving continuous improvement through AI in Testing lifecycle
- TOSCA knowledge – good to have
Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Governance
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategy, test approach, and QA governance frameworks for large SAP transformation programs.
- Establish entry/exit criteria, quality gates, and risk-based testing models across SIT, UAT, and regression cycles.
- Drive test management excellence aligned to organizational standards and compliance requirements (e.g., LSTR, audit readiness).
Test Planning & Execution Management
- Own end-to-end test planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting across multiple SAP workstreams.
- Manage testing across phases including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
- Monitor progress, track KPIs, and ensure adherence to timelines, scope, and quality targets.
Stakeholder & Program Management
- Act as single point of accountability for all testing deliverables across IT, business, and vendor stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional coordination between business teams, product teams, and external vendors.
- Provide executive-level reporting on quality metrics, risks, and readiness status.
Defect & Quality Management
- Establish and manage defect lifecycle processes, including triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking.
- Perform defect trend analysis to identify systemic quality issues and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure end-product quality and validate business process integrity across SAP modules.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Define and drive test automation strategy, focusing on regression optimization and reusability of test assets.
- Leverage tools such as Tosca, Worksoft, Panaya, or SAP CBTA to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Lead process improvements, shift-left practices, and AI-led testing adoption.
Test Data & Environment Management
- Ensure robust test data strategy, including data provisioning, masking, and validation.
- Oversee environment readiness, integration dependencies, and test tool configuration.
Team Leadership & Delivery Management
- Lead and manage large, distributed test teams (functional, automation, performance) across geographies.
- Drive capacity planning, onboarding, and skill development within the QA team.
