Principal Product Security Architect Overview

Arm is looking for a seasoned Security Engineer to take charge of interactions with external security laboratories and certification bodies. As a senior member of the Product Security team, you will oversee various aspects of security evaluations, coordinate certification activities, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This position is crucial for ensuring that Arm products achieve and maintain necessary assurance levels through thorough evaluation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main technical liaison with accredited third‐party security laboratories tasked with evaluating Arm products.
  • Lead and manage comprehensive security evaluation and certification programs, overseeing all phases from planning to execution and documentation.
  • Ensure that all necessary evidence, documentation, test vectors, and artifacts for certification are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Review and validate findings from laboratories, ensuring that corrective measures are taken and retested as necessary.
  • Stay informed about the latest certification standards, including Common Criteria, PSA Certified, SESIP, FIPS, OCP safe, ISO21434, and IEC 62443.
  • Develop and maintain clear, thorough, and up-to-date documentation for all evaluation processes and certification workflows.
  • Provide internal guidance and mentorship on evaluation methodologies, certification readiness, and relevant standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in product security, security evaluation, certification, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of security evaluation frameworks such as Common Criteria, SESIP, PSA Certified, FIPS 140-3, ISO 21434, and EU-CRA.
  • Proven experience working with external security laboratories and managing formal evaluation processes.
  • Solid understanding of cryptographic primitives, secure key lifecycle management, and secure provisioning workflows.
  • Experience with silicon/SoC security architecture, including threat modeling, attacker models, and countermeasures.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‐functional engineering, product, and security teams.
