Headquartered in Berlin, the firm is now looking to expand its team by hiring a talented Associate and/or Senior Associate to play a key role in sourcing, executing, and managing investments. This role is based in Berlin, candidates must therefore be willing to relocate and work on-site. What the job involves
- Deal Sourcing & Origination - Identifying investment opportunities and building industry relationships
- Financial Analysis & Valuation - Performing financial modeling, company valuations (DCF, LBO), and due diligence
- Transaction Execution - Supporting deal structuring, negotiations, and investment committee presentations
- Portfolio Management - Working with portfolio companies to drive growth, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives
- Exit Strategy - Assisting in preparing and executing exit processes
- Investor & Internal Reporting - Preparing reports for senior leadership, LPs, and contributing to fundraising efforts
- Solid academic foundation in business, finance or a related field
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- 2-5 years of professional experience, ideally gained in top-tier investment banking, or private equity
- Team player with an entrepreneurial approach and a commercial mindset
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in German and English are a must
