Tektora is working with a fast‐growing Series A Enterprise SaaS company that is scaling rapidly across Europe.

The business is growing ARR by 400% year‐on‐year and is now looking for a highly hands‐on CTO to lead its engineering function, shape the technical direction and help scale the company through its next stage of growth.

This is a demanding, high‐ownership leadership role for someone who is deeply technical, AI‐native and comfortable operating at speed in an early‐stage environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a high‐performing engineering team of 5+ developers.
• Own the technical strategy, architecture and delivery roadmap.
• Remain hands‐on in the code across Python, SQL and data/ML‐driven systems.
• Drive product development at pace while maintaining technical quality.
• Build lean, high‐output engineering teams and set a strong delivery culture.
• Work closely with founders, commercial teams and enterprise customers.
• Support customer‐face technical discussions where required.
• Use modern AI and agentic coding tools to improve engineering speed and output.
• Travel at short notice for key customer, partner or investor meetings.

Requirements

• Strong Python and SQL experience.
• Machine learning, data science or mathematical background is essential.
• Experience leading engineering teams of 5+ developers.
• Background in fast‐growing Enterprise SaaS is essential.
• Previous experience as a CTO, Head of Engineering, Tech Lead, Head of ML or similar.
• Highly hands‐on technical leader who still enjoys coding.
• Strong understanding of AI‐native development and agentic coding tools.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform would be beneficial.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ambition and appetite for intensity.
• Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, high‐growth startup environment.
• Willing to be office‐based in Berlin or Munich.
