Overview

As the Head of AdTech, you will hold primary responsibility for leading the strategic roadmap, team management, advertising technology infrastructure, and media partnerships across all European markets. This is a highly collaborative and technical leadership role designed to establish a foolproof campaign delivery ecosystem, optimize team resource allocation, and ensure absolute operational accuracy in digital media investments. As a key technical and strategic partner within a multicultural European team, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, working closely with internal media teams, subcontracted media agencies (Havas), and brand-side client stakeholders (HME). Beyond core technology management, you will actively lead operational excellence by enforcing strict quality assurance to eliminate execution errors, while simultaneously driving high‐level media negotiations to secure maximum commercial benefits for our digital campaigns.

Key Tasks & ResponsibilitiesTeam Management & Resource Allocation

  • Strategic Team Structuring: Design and structure the AdTech and Ad Operations teams to maximize operational efficiency and alignment with broader business goals.
  • Resource Optimization: Strategically allocate human and technical resources across different teams and digital projects, ensuring balanced workloads and high-performance delivery.
  • People Leadership & Mentoring: Manage, mentor, and lead team members, fostering a collaborative, solution-oriented environment and continuously developing their technical capabilities.

Rigorous AdTech Setting & Quality Assurance

  • Process Standardization: Establish, enforce, and continuously optimize a foolproof, standardized workflow for end-to-end digital campaign setups across all platforms and tech stacks (Ad Servers, DSPs, SSPs).
  • Campaign Quality Auditing: Conduct rigorous, multi-layered, and systematic audits of campaign settings, tracking pixels, and data configurations prior to launch.
  • Risk Mitigation & Error Prevention: Implement proactive quality control measures and verification frameworks to eliminate operational mistakes and technical errors made during the setup phase, ensuring flawless campaign execution.

Media Relations & Commercial Partnership

  • Strategic Media Relations: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders at key global and local media vendors, publishers, and tech platforms.
  • Commercial Dealing & Value Maximization: Lead high-level negotiations and commercial deals with media partners to secure preferential terms, exclusive inventory, and value-added benefits that directly enhance campaign performance.

Required ProfileProfessional Experience

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in ad operations, digital media technology, or data management, with a proven track record in a leadership role within a media agency, tech vendor, or multinational organization.
  • Proven experience in establishing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and quality control frameworks that significantly reduced operational error rates.

Technical Skills

  • Deep expertise in Ad Tech Stack mechanics (Google Marketing Platform, Trade Desk, Meta Advanced Analytics, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of data governance, identity solutions (First-party data, Clean Rooms), and digital verification frameworks (IAS, DoubleVerify).

Leadership & Behavioral Competencies

  • Exceptional coordination and communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts to senior business stakeholders and client teams.
  • Collaborative working style with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset suited for leading a diverse, multicultural technical team.

Language Requirements

  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Additional European languages are an advantage but not required.
