Overview
The Senior Segment Management Lead will shape and steer customer segment strategies across Mobility, Construction and Industry, translating market and customer insights into clear go-to-market strategies and growth priorities. This central group role provides strategic guidance on business and transformation topics, embedding customer centricity into strategy, planning and execution, and further developing Segment Management as a driver of profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and align go-to-market strategies across Mobility, Construction and Industry.
- Own segment-specific marketing plans and translate strategies into clear growth priorities, go-to-market initiatives and roadmaps.
- Establish a systematic market and customer insights approach, ensuring insights are translated into concrete actions and business decisions.
- Lead and strategically guide cross-functional business and transformation projects.
- Collaborate closely with global and local Sales & Marketing organizations as well as senior leadership to drive alignment and execution.
- Shape the customer value proposition, product roadmap, marketing plans and sales approach from a strategic perspective.
- Contribute to business planning, sales budgeting and performance management across key commercial levers.
- Lead and further develop the central Segment Management team while strengthening the international Segment Management community across countries and divisions.
Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy or a comparable field.
- Multiple years of relevant professional experience in strategic marketing, go-to-market management, business transformation and/or consulting, preferably within B2B environments such as Mobility, Construction and Industry.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing strategies and translating them into actionable roadmaps, KPIs and measurable business outcomes.
- Leadership experience, either disciplinary or functional, with the ability to lead international communities and drive cross-functional collaboration in a matrix organization.
- Strong strategic mindset combined with hands‐on execution capabilities, analytical rigor, clear communication and a pragmatic approach.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide direction, prepare executive decisions and drive alignment and execution across international matrix organizations.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
