Responsibilities:

Coordination with external European patent law firms: selection, quality control, benchmarking

Managing patent prosecution and opposition proceedings at the European patent office and the German patent office

Participation in European patent litigation

Assisting in the European patent law training of Chinese patent engineers

Controlling the quality of English-language patent application drafting

Requirements:

At least 8 years’ experience as a European patent attorney

Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics or related fields

English as a working language

Additional qualification as a German patent attorney highly welcome

Chinese language and culture proficiency highly welcome

Honesty, strong communication and coordination skills, strong self-motivation
