Senior Legal Counsel – Bau- und Vertragsrecht (m/w/d)

We’re currently seeking a Senior Lawyer - Construction & Contract Law (m/f/d) to join our team. You will be focused on providing legal guidance across complex construction projects and supporting the structuring, negotiation, and compliance of contracts and operations in an international environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising on construction projects across all phases, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating pre-construction and construction-related contracts;
  • Supporting legal aspects of construction subsidies and project finance structuring;
  • Providing legal support on commercial matters, including supplier, service, and cooperation agreements;
  • Guiding management and operational teams on day-to-day legal issues;
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of internal processes, policies, and contract standards;
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements in construction and infrastructure;
  • Building and improving claims and dispute management systems.

Expertise:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in both public and private construction law with strong expertise in contract and commercial law;
  • Proven experience managing complex contractual structures and disputes;
  • Familiarity with international contract standards such as FIDIC would be a plus;
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style;
  • Advanced German and English skills, both written and spoken;
  • Full qualification as a lawyer with both German State Examinations is an advantage.
