Hardware Test Engineer | M/W/X

We are currently recruiting for one of our client·s, a global leader in automotive technologies and electrification ⚡🚗

As part of their development, we are looking for a Hardware Test Engineer (H/F/X) to join their team in Luxembourg on a 9-month assignment.

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or similar)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive electronics or e-mobility
• Strong knowledge of embedded hardware systems and analog electronics
• High-voltage certification (DGUV or equivalent) is a strong asset
• Hands-on mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously with a high level of ownership
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical topics clearly
• Fluent in English (German and/or French are a plus)
• Team player with a collaborative and proactive approach

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and implement functional test plans for hardware validation
• Design and improve hardware test setups and test benches
• Perform manual and automated functional testing on electronic systems
• Contribute to the development and validation of new test software functions
• Analyze, track, and report test results and progress
• Identify, manage, and resolve hardware defects
• Support environmental and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing
• Provide technical support to production teams for implementation changes
• Investigate customer and internal issues, reproduce defects, and coordinate resolution
