Maintenance Supervisor - Weekend Night Shift - St Joseph DAP

What You Will Do
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring production requirements are met, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, fostering positive employee relations, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. This role plans, directs, coordinates, and controls manufacturing activities within the assigned area to achieve operational and business objectives.
How You Will Do It
- Lead and train production personnel to perform work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
- Maintain positive employee relations through coaching, communication, and consistent application of company policies.
- Plan staffing requirements and assign work to meet production schedules and customer demands.
- Monitor production performance, including productivity, scrap reduction, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Enforce health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work any assigned shift and required overtime.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, safety practices, and employee relations.
Preferred
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Continuous improvement experience (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies).
- Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Weekend Night Schedule - Friday night 10:30pm-10:30am Saturday morning and Saturday night 10:30pm-10:30am Sunday morning.
