Location: Ost Thüringen, Sachsen, Sachsen Anhalt, Berlin, Brandenburg
Employment: Full‐time or Part‐time (80%) with flexible working hours
Responsibilities
- Act as scientific expert and implement Medical Affairs product plans in the assigned region.
- Exchange scientific information proactively and reactively with external experts, including communication of label product data, discussion of clinical studies programme and scientific information for products and indications in development.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in pathophysiology, diagnostics and systemic therapies for haematological diseases, and in interpreting and communicating complex study data, pipeline developments and cross‐indication scientific insights.
- Plan and conduct pipeline and strategy meetings, including sessions with university clinics, ensuring close alignment of regional insights with the overarching medical strategy.
- Acquire strategic knowledge of therapeutic pathways, scientific activities, and developments in core indications, identify open questions, data gaps and medical needs; support the development of patient outcome solutions and contribute to strategic account planning.
- Support the development and implementation of medical strategy.
- Collaborate with Global Clinical Operations to identify trial sites, build and maintain partnerships, plan and execute interventional and non‐interventional studies, including site selection, investigator engagement, site reviews, investigator meetings and presentation of study results.
- Coordinate collaboration with trial sites in coordination with MAF ID/GCO, support CAR‐T cases (e.g., OOS situations) and establish long‐term medical collaborations with trial sites and CAR‐T sites.
- Identify needs for regional and national medical education activities, plan and conduct these strategically, participate in scientific discussions, and deliver presentations at scientific meetings.
- Represent the company at national and international conferences, investigator meetings, medical education events and advisory board meetings.
- Expand and maintain the Key Opinion Leader network, engage in relevant societies and health policy organizations, drive KOL projects, coordinate international KOL potentials, and identify rising stars.
- Translate current scientific literature into actionable information, considering regional and external needs and CVT strategy.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in medicine, natural sciences, or pharmacy (preferred: Ph.D.).
- Substantial scientific experience in a human‐medicine clinical context.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant MSL experience in haematology, with track record of building KOL networks, leading regional medical initiatives and collaborating with clinical trial sites.
- Lateral leadership experience.
- Strong project‐management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong agile mindset, quick learning ability for new topics, structures and scientific developments.
- Very good German and English language skills.
Compensation
Base salary: €80,400.00 – €127,765.00 (primary location) and €67,500 – €106,835.00 (additional locations) depending on qualification and experience.
