To strengthen the technical governance and operational excellence of its international project portfolio, we are seeking a Technical Director (m/f/d), based in the Netherlands.

Job Description Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Full technical leadership of the operational project business within the assigned region
• Direct leadership and development of multidisciplinary technical and operational teams
• Advancement, harmonization, and optimization of construction processes, including digital transformation, BIM methodologies, and LEAN concepts
• Definition and implementation of strategic objectives in close collaboration with the executive leadership team

Business Development & Market Engagement

• Contribution to the acquisition of large‐scale projects, including participation in steering committees and key industry networks
• Continuous market analysis with a focus on growth potential and sustainable order acquisition
• Strategic customer engagement in partnership with commercial leadership to ensure outstanding client satisfaction

Project Governance & Compliance

• Executive oversight of the entire project landscape, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, quality, and risk targets
• Ensuring best‐in‐class contract and claims management to secure long‐term business success
• Guaranteeing compliance with all technical, regulatory, and safety standards, as well as internal corporate guidelines
• Driving the sustainable economic performance of the business unit

The Successful Applicant Leadership Experience

• Degree in civil engineering or a comparable technical field
• Extensive professional experience in senior technical roles within the construction industry, ideally with international exposure
• Proven leadership personality with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain high‐performing teams

• Strong communication skills and negotiation confidence at C‐suite and stakeholder levels
