Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks, aligning with Intellect’s global growth priorities.
  • Build and manage a high-value pipeline of strategic opportunities across digital core transformation, transaction banking modernisation, payments, risk & compliance, treasury, and AI-driven platforms.

Executive & Enterprise Client Engagement:

  • Establish and deepen relationships with C-suite and executive stakeholders
  • Position Intellect as a long-term strategic partner, aligned to enterprise transformation roadmaps rather than point solutions.
  • Lead executive workshops, visioning sessions, and value-engineering discussions to shape large-scale programs.

Solution & Value Proposition Leadership:

  • Lead the positioning of Intellect’s enterprise-grade, cloud-native and composable platforms for large, complex banking environments.
  • Work closely with pre-sales and solution architects to design bespoke, outcome-driven proposals addressing scalability, resilience, regulatory compliance and global operations.
  • Articulate clear business value cases around cost reduction, agility, regulatory readiness and customer experience improvement.

Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration:

  • Partner with Product, Pre-Sales, Delivery, Marketing and Global Sales teams to ensure consistent enterprise messaging and execution.
  • Coordinate with regional and global account teams to manage multi-country stakeholders and decision-making structures.
  • Provide structured market and client feedback to influence product roadmap and strategic investments.

Thought Leadership & Market Presence:

  • Represent Intellect at global banking forums, Tier 1 industry events, executive roundtables and analyst briefings.
  • Contribute to thought leadership content focused on large-bank transformation, composable banking, AI adoption and regulatory resilience.
  • Strengthen Intellect’s brand perception among global systemically important banks.

Sales Governance & Performance Management:

  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasts and deal governance in CRM systems.
  • Deliver against annual revenue, booking and strategic account objectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales leaders and account teams where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential

  • 12-15 years of enterprise fintech or enterprise software sales experience, with a significant portion selling to Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks.
  • Proven success in closing large, complex, multi-million-pound deals with long sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of large-bank architectures, legacy modernisation, regulatory constraints and global operating models.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives and board‐level stakeholders.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, negotiation skills and strategic thinking.

Desirable

  • Experience selling core banking, transaction banking, payments, treasury, risk & compliance or AI/data platforms.
  • Exposure to cloud transformation, microservices, API‐led architectures and composable banking models.
  • Familiarity with German and global banking regulation (PRA, FCA, ECB, global regulatory expectations).
  • Existing relationships within Tier 1 or Tier 2 banking groups.

Skills & Competencies

  • Enterprise-level consultative selling and value-based engagement.
  • Strategic account planning and multi-stakeholder orchestration.
  • Strong financial modelling and deal structuring capability.
  • High resilience, credibility and executive gravitas.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary with highly attractive performance-linked incentives.
  • Opportunity to shape Intellect’s growth with global Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks.
  • Exposure to some of the most complex and high-impact banking transformation programs globally.
  • Collaborative, innovation‐led culture with strong executive sponsorship.
