About your role

As a Principal Consultant with the CRL (Consumer Goods, Retail & Logistics) team, you will design, deliver, and lead S/4HANA-enabled transformation programmes focused on Finance. Your responsibilities encompass planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of finance operating models and end-to-end processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver S/4HANA transformation programmes, including Central Finance (CFIN), Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and integration with other modules (MM, EWM, SD, PP, etc.).
  • Integrate upstream and best-of-breed solutions such as BlackLine, Trintech, or similar.
  • Design and implement the Finance Operating Model, defining the future role of Finance and its service delivery across process, technology, people, and organization.
  • Develop and deliver R2R best‐practice processes covering fixed assets, intercompany, profitability analysis, product costing, project accounting, period‐end close, consolidation, and related areas.
  • Lead pre‐sales conversations and help clients shape their Finance transformation journey roadmaps.
  • Lead or participate in practice development activities that support sales and internal capability building.
  • Facilitate design workshops and translate client requirements into actionable design artefacts.

Qualifications

  • Broad business skill set, including stakeholder management, problem‐solving, and resilience.
  • Experience gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating data and information to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in the country’s official language(s) (C2 proficiency) and English (C2 proficiency).
  • Willingness to travel for project‐related mobility.
  • Strong knowledge of S/4HANA configuration and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrable experience with Agile working practices on SAP implementations, including activity planning.
  • Strong client‐facing skills and ability to lead a workstream through all phases of an SAP implementation.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and process‐improvement oriented mindset.
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay current with emerging technical trends.
  • Track record of professional success, preferably in consulting services.
